The 4L67E Chubb Union Rim Lock

The Union  Chubb Guardian Rim deadbolt rim locks is an ideal lock for all types of wooden doors, especially glass panelled doors between 38mm and 57mm thick, with a 60mm backset, it is a high security lock and comes with the BS 3621 kite mark.

 It has a hardened fixing plate for the inside lock.

It can be locked from the inside with a key, therefore if any glass is broken, it cannot be opened, from inside.

 Both the outer cylinder and inner locking handle work on a ten disc AVA system, and cylinder is protected from torque attack.

 For added security the deadbolt locks into place, when closing the door.

 The bolt can be held back, from the inside, with a push snib action.

 It has a saw resistance hardened bolt, and both the outside cylinder and inside handle are drill and pick resistance.

 There are approximately 20,000 key differs.

 It comes in a Brasslux and comes with 3 keys, but extra keys can be supplied with the lock, when ordering.

 The Union  Chubb Guardian 4L76E can be passed or mastered, on request.
