These bolts are accepted by Insurance Companies, when fitted with a 5 lever lock, they make your doors secure and are morticed into the doors, all that is seen are the escutcheons, where the key goes.

The Yale mortice key operated locking bolts which lock into the door frame.
They are suitable for back doors or side doors, where access is need from the inside or outside of your home.
They are suitable for window with wide stiles and doors.
The door bolt is concealed within the door, all that is showing is the escutcheon plate.
It is recommended that 1 x bolt is fitted to top side of door 10” to 14 “ from top and 1 x bolt is fitted to bottom side of door 10” to 14” from bottom.
In the case of French doors, it advisable to take off the door and fit 1 x bolt into top of door, pus 1 x bolt into bottom of door, of the final closing leaf of doors.
Positioning the bolts, away from the downward grain of the stile of door.
The Yale Locking Bolts come in White and Brass and come with escutcheons key and fixing screws.
These 8002 key operated bolts are acceptable by Insurance Companies, when fitted with a 5 lever lock.
