Asec AS15 lock and AS19 Deadlocking Night latch
DEADLOCKING NIGHT LATCH EQUIVALENT TO THE YALE 85 and YALE 89
WE
CAN PASS AND MASTER THESE LOCKS TO ANY CYLINDER OF THE SAME SECTION,
INCLUDING EUROPROFILE CYLINDERS.......IDEAL FOR ESTATE
AGENTS....PROPERTY COMPANIES ETC.
The Asec AS15 lock, Double Locking (deadlocking) 40mm backset and 60mm backset nightlatch operates in the same way as a standard nightlatch, however if you turn the key in the the cylinder, from the outside in the opposite direction, to opening it, this will lock the internal handle thus stopping a thief from breaking the glass and gaining entry to the property. Care must be taken to ensure building occupants are aware of this deadlocking feature and thought must be given to granting another form of exit in an emergency.
On external doors it should be used in conjunction with a British Standard mortice lock.
These locks come in a number of cylinder finishes and case finishes, please check below for what is require.
