ERA Fortress Dead Locks

ERA Fortress 261 64mm and 361 76mm BS 5 Lever Deadlock

The ERA Fortress Dead Locks fully complies with both the European (BS EN 12209) and British (BS3621:2007) standards, therefore is 

compatible with all Insurance requirements Companies stringent requirements.

Higher security levels are delivered by a 20mm bolt throw on every lock, and the bolt has hardened steel plates to resist hack saw attacks.

It is fitted with hardened steel plates either side of the lock, to prevent drilling.

The keys, have 1,000 variations for added security, the steel levers have false notches, to help prevent easy picking.

It has an enclosed strike box to help prevent attacks from the frame side.

The lock comes with 2 keys and good quality escutcheons, it comes in a satin or brass finish.

The case sizes comes in 2 sizes, either 64mm (2 1/2") or 76mm (3")

The ERA Dead lock is designed for fitting to wooden doors, but can be adapted for other uses, it comes with full fitting instructions, face plate and screws for fitting.

ERA Fortress Dead Locks 233 and 333 Fortress BS Euro Keyless Egress Key & Turn With Cylinder

Fitted with a turn knob British Standard cylinder, these Euro ERA Dead locks are an ideal lock to fit in conjunction with the ERA BS Escape Rim Night latch, to fit to communal doors, or doors where escape access is needed, yet they will still comply with Insurance requirements.  They make easy access in the event of a fire.

ERA Fortress Dead Locks Euro

Fit the ERA Euro BS Deadlock with a BS turn knob cylinder and the ERA BS Escape Rim Lock, make an ideal Insurance approved scenario for escaping in the case of a fire. 

The ERA Fortress Euro British Standard Deadlock is the ideal partner lock to go on the same door as the ERA Rim Night latch as both are British Standard and Insurance approved and can be keyed on the same key, they can be fitted with a key and key British Standard Cylinder or with a British Standard turn Knob cylinder; this is an ideal situation for fire protection, to save being locked in between flat door and front door without a key.

It gives a reasonable price High Security option for any front door, or Communal door, with the added bonus of quick exit in the event of fire, if turn knob cylinder fitted.

Master Locksmiths can Master key or pass cylinders to the ERA Fortress High Security cylinder lock and the High Security Rim Night latch.

The conflict between a secure British Standard accredited front door lock and fire safety recommendations has now been overcome thanks to the new Keyless Egress Range.

The new BS8621:2004 standard mirrors the BS3621:2004 but is for ‘escape’ locks.

The locks are classified as providing keyless egress at all times.

This applies where there is a requirement for an easy action method of opening an external door from the inside with no need for keys or similar devices for unlocking.

Especially relevant for entrance doors in multi-residential and other buildings. A keyless lever on the inside of the door ensures its possible to make an emergency escape in the event of a fire.

The Lock comes with 3 6 pinned keys plus all fixing screws and security escutcheon plates

They come in 2 1/2" and 3" and the finishes are Brass, Satin and Chrome.
