Yale PBS4 BS Egress Night Latch 40mm is an ideal escape lock for use on communal doors. It is a British Standard Latch and is recommended by Insurance Companies and Police alike.
They have ease of escape in case of an emergency exit. With an Internal handle to open it and cannot be locked from the inside. Is a anti-drill, pick, bump and carding automatic deadlocking latch.
It has a snib to dead lock or hold back the latch.

The Yale PBS4 BS 40mm Egress Latch is a high security night latch which not only provide the highest level of resistance against known attack methods but they also allow for easy egress in case of an emergency, such as a fire.

It is an automatic Dead Latching lock, which cannot be locked from the inside, therefore is ideal for communal doors as well as fire doors.

The lock is recommended by both Insurance Companies, the police and Fire Inspectors.

It is supplied with an anti-pick 6-pin cylinder, the BS4 night latch features an anti-saw bolt and deadlocks automatically on the close of the door. 

This lock is the 40mm if the 60mm is required then look for the PBS3, which we do sell on our site.

This lock comes in a brass finish only, it is supplied with 2 keys, but extra keys can be cut when ordering the lock.
