The Yale PBS1 Auto Deadlocking Night latch works on a 6 pinned cylinder with approximately 100,000 differs, it is supplied with 2 keys, but, extra keys can be supplied, when ordering the lock.
The lock automatically dead latches, when the door is in the closed position, preventing the latch being slipped.
The latchbolt is withdrawn with the handle, from the inside and with a key operation from the outside, the handle can be locked from the inside, preventing the lock being opened, if a glass panel is broken.
The latch can be held back by key or by button, from the inside.
The Yale PBS1 has a 60mm backset and is suitable for doors from 45mm to 57mm.
It has an extended 178mm strike plate, adding extra strength to the door frame jamb.
